About Two Stars
Two Stars is the advanced version of Crowns: every row, column and colored region holds exactly two stars, and stars may never touch, even diagonally. Larger boards and twice the stars make for deeper deductions, but each puzzle still has a unique solution.
Play a new daily puzzle every day, or pick Easy, Medium or Hard in practice mode for unlimited puzzles.
How to play
- Place exactly two stars in every row, every column and every colored region.
- Stars cannot touch, not even diagonally.
- Use ✕ to mark cells that cannot hold a star. Every puzzle has a unique solution.
Practice sizes: Easy 8×8, Medium 9×9, Hard 10×10.
Tap once for ✕, twice for a star. Drag to mark many ✕ at once.
Tips & strategies
- A 2×2 block can hold at most one star — use this to limit small regions.
- Count regions confined to a group of rows: they use up all the stars of those rows.
- Mark every neighbor of a star with ✕ right away.
