About Nine Letters
Nine Letters gives you a 3×3 grid of letters. Make as many English words of four or more letters as you can, always using the center letter. At least one word uses all nine letters.
Play a new daily puzzle every day, or pick Easy, Medium or Hard in practice mode for unlimited puzzles.
How to play
- Make English words of at least 4 letters that include the center letter.
- Each tile can be used at most once per word.
- Find the target number of common words to win; at least one word uses all 9 letters.
- Rarer dictionary words are accepted as bonus words.
All the common words you missed are listed at the end.

Tips & strategies
- Find the nine-letter word early — it unlocks many others.
- Try adding S, ED or ER to words you have found.
- Group the letters into common pairs like TH, CH and ST.

Yes. A new daily puzzle arrives at midnight (your local time) and everyone gets the same one. Missed days can be played from the archive.

No. Daily Brain runs in your browser. You can add it to your home screen and it keeps working offline after the first visit. Progress is stored only on your device.
Are there difficulty levels and hints?
Practice mode offers Easy, Medium and Hard with unlimited new puzzles. Hints are available when you get stuck and are recorded in your result.
