About Battleships
Battleships is a solitaire logic version of the classic game. A fleet is hidden on the grid; the numbers outside give how many ship cells are in each row and column, and ships never touch. Use the revealed cells and the counts to locate every ship.
Play a new daily puzzle every day, or pick Easy, Medium or Hard in practice mode for unlimited puzzles.
How to play
- A fleet (lengths shown above) is hidden on the board, each ship horizontal or vertical.
- The numbers on the right and bottom give how many ship cells are in each row and column.
- Ships cannot touch, not even diagonally. Some cells are revealed; unique solution.
Clues turn green when met, red when exceeded. Diagonally touching ship cells are flagged.
Tap a cell to cycle: water → ship → unknown. Drag to mark water.
Tips & strategies
- Place the biggest ship first — it has the fewest possible positions.
- Cells diagonal to any ship part are always water.
- When a row’s count is reached, the rest of the row is water.

Is there a new Battleships puzzle every day?
Yes. A new daily puzzle arrives at midnight (your local time) and everyone gets the same one. Missed days can be played from the archive.
Do I need to sign up or install anything?
No. Daily Brain runs in your browser. You can add it to your home screen and it keeps working offline after the first visit. Progress is stored only on your device.
Are there difficulty levels and hints?
Practice mode offers Easy, Medium and Hard with unlimited new puzzles. Hints are available when you get stuck and are recorded in your result.
