Each press toggles a light and its neighbors. Switch them all off.
About Lights Out
Lights Out is a toggle puzzle: pressing a light flips it and its four neighbors. Turn every light off — ideally in the minimum number of presses, which is shown for each puzzle. The order of presses does not matter, only which lights you press.
Play a new daily puzzle every day, or pick Easy, Medium or Hard in practice mode for unlimited puzzles.
How to play
- Tapping a light toggles it and its neighbors above, below, left and right.
- The goal is to turn every light off.
- The minimum number of presses is shown — go for the optimal solution!
Reset restores the lights but keeps your count; Undo takes moves back.
Tap any light. Order does not matter, and pressing twice cancels out.
Tips & strategies
- Pressing the same light twice cancels out.
- Chase the lights down: clear each row by pressing the light below every lit cell.
- The final row pattern tells you which cells of the top row to press first.

Yes. A new daily puzzle arrives at midnight (your local time) and everyone gets the same one. Missed days can be played from the archive.

No. Daily Brain runs in your browser. You can add it to your home screen and it keeps working offline after the first visit. Progress is stored only on your device.
Are there difficulty levels and hints?
Practice mode offers Easy, Medium and Hard with unlimited new puzzles. Hints are available when you get stuck and are recorded in your result.
